Pierre-André de Chalendar

Pierre-André de Chalendar born April 2, 1958 in Vichy (France), is a French entrepreneur.

He is Chairman and CEO [1] of Saint-Gobain Group since June 3, 2010 and CEO [2] since June 2007.

Formation

Career

Pierre-André de Chalendar began his career at the General Inspection of Finance (IGF) from 1983 to 1987. Financial Inspector (1984). Project manager (1987–88) then Deputy Director (1988–89) in the General Directorate for Energy and raw materials of the Ministry of Industry and Energy.

October 1, 1989, Pierre-André de Chalendar joined Compagnie de Saint-Gobain as Vice-President Corporate Planning. He was successively:

Pierre-André de Chalendar has been appointed by the Board of Directors of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain Chairman and CEO of Compagnie de Saint-Gobain on June 3, 2010, after the General Meeting of shareholders.
